Too ... Much ... Food

Jason's brother, sister-in-law, and adorable little nephew were in town this past week and believe you me, I ate more food in one week than my body should digest in a month! It was pretty cool though ;)

During their visit, we went to Universal Studios in L.A., walked around Solvang (a Dutch shopping district nearby) and walked to a place called Nojoqui Falls, which was a small but beautiful waterfall and park area. We also went to Hearst Castle, the home of William Randolph Hearst, a newspaper tycoon from the early 1900's. J and I had been there before, but it was a beautiful day and gorgeous view of the ocean and nearby mountainside! Although I had to go back to work the last 2 days of their visit, they managed to go to the beach, visit a farmer's market, and swim in our pool and hot tub a couple times. And is our nephew ever cute! All in all, a really good visit.

And to end each wonderful day, we get to listen to the blissful noise of the sprinklers turning on right around 11 as we doze off to sleep. What could be better?
